Chess Pie

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 T. corn meal
  • 1 T. plain flour
  • 1/4 c. whole milk
  • 1 c. butter, melted
  • 1 t. vinegar
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 -9” unbaked pastry shell

Beat the eggs, add the sugar, and stir in the corn meal and flour. Add the milk and butter, beat in the vinegar and vanilla. Pour into a 9-inch unbaked pastry shell and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes.
